Now that we are settling into the school year and have our new families settled into our routine, I am able to put some focus into our blog. Over the next month or so, I will be posting our summer program and camp recaps on Tuesdays. Our summer program is much more relaxed than our school year in that we spend much more time outside enjoying fresh air and sunshine. We

One of Ms. Claudia’s first lessons was painting with things in nature. She took the kids on a tour of the backyard to collect items that they may want to use for painting. After coming inside and experiment with pine cones, leaves, sticks, pine needles and berries. They explored the different smells as well.

One of our community building events is in August to allow new families to meet before school starts. This year we did our 1st annual Cove Continental. We provided a continental breakfast for new and returning families at The Cove. We had a great time meeting families in a more casual atmosphere allowing adults and children to interact. It was a smashing success! We look forward to our 2nd annual Cove Continental as well as the other opportunities throughout the year for families to gather.
