Pretty mellow but exciting times here at The Cove. We had a few of our friends on vacation this week including Miss Anna, but that allowed the children to meet Ms. Jenna. She was K/1 teacher with me at Gatewood Elementary and a long-term substitute preschool teacher at the New School (now South Shore ) which uses the HighScope program. A little fun fact about Jenna…she is a trained opera singer. She helped the children do their self-portraits which get better each month. We also made flowers for Mother’s Day. We look forward to having her back with us soon.
We had some beautiful days at the end of this week so we were able to get some good outside time. A little more jumping practice:

Other exciting news…We had some families tour this week with a couple more visits scheduled for next week. We have a new friend joining us on Monday and I can’t wait to have her part of our group. I have also received several confirmations for fall enrollment. Our community is building and we are really excited about it.
