Is it academic? Is it play based? Which model of education? For some, the right preschool equals the right elementary school which equals the right high school and then the right college and so on. The reason for combining two or more grade levels is that students can be grouped with others who are at the same developmental level regardless of age. It allows for learning at their own pace without feeling out of place.
